The Four Legs of Balance

Take a moment; visualize yourself sitting at a strong, yet beautiful, four-legged table. When you are at this table you know the table is strong, stable, and most of all balanced. Imagine if the table had one leg, would it fall? It probably would. How about two legs? It may be a little more stable, but would need support to stabilize. If it had three legs, it may stand alone, but could be very unstable. If it has four legs, it is usually strong, balanced, and can support a large amount of weight. It is my hope to foster the balance of four legs in your life: mind, body, nutrition, and family.

In working to balance our minds, we are afforded the opportunity to actively assess our skills and qualities, consider our aims in life and set goals in order to realize and maximize our potential.

Balanced Body

The promise of a smaller waistline can be motivating, but having a non-weight loss centered exercise routine can have more beneficial effects: stronger heart and lungs, cancer risk reduction, diabetes prevention and management, better digestion, and a sharper, happier brain.

Balanced Nutrition

Balanced nutrition is important because your organs and tissues need proper nutrition to work effectively. Without good nutrition, your body is more prone to disease, infection, fatigue, and poor performance.

Balanced Family

Striving for family balance involves ensuring that everyone’s needs — not just your children — are recognized, validated, and met to the greatest extent possible.
